The second edition, limited to 300 copies, of which this is number 229. Bound in beautiful brown variegated full leather (see photo), with gilt titles on spine, gilt rules. teg. Gilt dentelles (ornamental lace-like tooling) inside front and rear covers. Five raised bands on spine. The four poems in manuscript form at the end of the book were omitted from the first edition of 1827. This is an almost pristine copy, with only a very small scratch on the top gilt.
